Winner of the 1st edition of the Champion's Challenge II 2009, Poland has recently shown that they could surprise us all. 22nd in the World Ranking, the Polish are tough and combative players, that their opponents would be wrong to underestimate.

They will start their tournament with a match against France (October 31st at 3.30pm), then the Japanese (Sunday November 1st at 1.30pm), and the Russians (Tuesday November 3rd at 1.30pm). They will conclude the first round with two matches against Italy (Thursay November 5th at 11.30am), and Pakistan (Saturday November 7th at 10.30am).

 

If they win the final, the Poles will play the World Cup for the 7th time in their history (1975, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1998 and 2002)

The first match of the day : Pakistan vs Poland. Pakistan who haven’t lost any matches are already qualified for the final. The Poles still have the hope to qualify. Indeed, a win against Pakistan would allow them to reach the final if the score of France vs Japon is in favour of them.
